E6400 Overclock Issue

Hello, I have an e6400 on an Intel DP35DP motherboard. The problem is this motherboard has no overclocking options in the bios, even with the newest bios update. I have been using Set FSB in windows and successfully overclocked it to 2.4Ghz from a stock 2.13Ghz. My temperatures are fine so I want to keep going, but soon as I hit 2.5Ghz the computer shuts off and i have to toggle the power supply to start it back up. I even found the exact fsb it dies at. I set the fsb to 311 and it was ok. Soon as i set it to 312 it shuts off. Does anyone have any idea what could be happening? I don't think its the lack of voltage at all, especially at only 2.5 Ghz. Could it possibly a lack of power? Any help would be appreciated! :)

System Specs
E6400, Intel DP35DP, 4GB/800Mhz Ram, ATI Radeon 4850, 480W Power Supply.
 
not lack of power.. you reached the limit on stock voltage most likely.. or your memory cant handle the overclock.. but there should be an overclocking feature in that bios.. probably have it in some retarded spot that your over looking.. you are at the upper end of your psu but that still shouldnt be an issue.. even full load on the cpu and gpu and you should be around 250w give or take a few..
 
Ya i think i am around 230 Watts. Also this bios is known not to have any options from what Ive read around. Ill check one more time. But you really think a E6400 reaches its limit on stock voltage at 2.4? I would think 2.8 or so. Also with 800 speed memory 2.5 shouldn't be a problem from 2.13
 
I will bet you don't have the voltage of the ram set correctly. I face the same issue.
