I let my computer sit around for awhile and I watched CPU-Z and CPUID Hardware Monitor. My Vcore almost randomly fluctuated between 1.14V and 1.28V. It's supposed to be 1.28V. My other voltages seem fine. My +12V is 10.37V.
Underclocking the voltage lowers the clock speed of the CPU and I saw in another thread some guy asked about the same thing. Another guy said his CPU was at 1200 and it was supposed to be 1600 or 1800MHz. There was a BIOS feature mentioned that changes the processor speed.
I honestly don't know if this is normal or not. My CPU % usage has been around 60%-70% since I began this message and the Vcore voltage only changed once, suggesting that it might be a feature that underclocks the processor when it's not in use.
I just joined today to figure out how to overclock my proc, the E6300's show serious capability.
I saw a thread guide for recommended heatsinks for Socket 775 processors, anyone have any personal preferences they would recommend for the E6300?
