e6300 @ 2.8GHz setup

If I want to overclock e6300 to 7*400=2800 Hz, what is the minimum setup that I need?

Will the following do?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 w/ stock cooler
GigaByte GA-965P-DS3
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5400)

mine is running at 2.8 on stock vcore. don't adjust vcore unless you have to. see if it is stable first, then if it isnt you can mess with vcore
 
Every allendale and conroe will hit 3Ghz. With adjusted vcore and tweaking on a good motherboard (p5w-dh for 4MB conroes, ga-ds3 for 2MB allendales), 6300s tend to top out at 3.2-3.4, 6400/6600 at 3.3-3.6, 6700s at 3.4-3.6. Engineering samples did much, much better.
 
Pretty much all ddr2-533 will hit 400mhz with additional voltage and relaxed timings. Expensive RAM is only really a concern if you want to go to 450+. Which you do, with a 6300... that's why oftentimes the 6400 is a superior choice, you can actually end up saving money on the ram.
 
Hmmm, my e6400 on stock cooling is crapping out in Super PI at 2.6ghz...

I am running 2 gigs Corsair 6400, the cheapest kind though, with 5-5-5-15 timings at 1:1 ratio...

I am kind of hot though...At load I am pulling 61-62C. Any ideas? Overvolt the RAM (spec is 1.9) or the proc? Or releax the timings? What first? And which RAM timing setting?

My environment is hot, so I hate to increase voltage.
