hey guys, i'm using a E4400 which doesnt clock really well..

only managed to get 2.85ghz on stock volt, and could'nt get it stable at even 1.45v for 3.0ghz

intending to sell it and and get a E4500 instead.

heard that the m0 stepping is good, but how do i check on the stepping when purchasing?

btw
using asus p5b + thermalright 120ultra is enough to bring the e4500 to at least 3.2ghz and <60C on load right?

use the latest cpu-z but i'm sure that all e4500 that available now is m0 stepping so don't you worry about it.

btw. mine also 2.8 stable with stock vcore, right now i'm using 1.45v for 3.2 and prime will get my chip to 66-67 C but everything else are well below 50 C so i'm not worried about that.
i know that because i use speedfan chart to watch my temp while i'm heavy gaming and set my fan to kick in when my cpu reach 50 C.
