I'm a long time lurker and rare poster with an interesting problem trying to OC my e4500.

What I'm running:
BIOSTAR TForce965PT
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB
Radeon HD 3850
Power supply: Vantec ION2 460w
Cooling: ZALMAN 9500

I can not seem to get past 246mhz FSB no matter what I try or do. At first I thought it may have been due to the command rate on this board being stuck at 1T, but I found a bios version that allows me to change it to 2T. Now with a 246mhz FSB it's running a cpu speed of 2.7ghz, which isn't bad, but it doesn't seem like it's the cpu limiting me.

I have changed the ram divider and tried lower multipliers, and higher voltages but nothing I seem to do will get me past 246mhz fsb, it just won't boot. I can run 246mhz all day long with no problems and cpu temps under full load for hours, under 105F. I have also tried lowering my mult to 6 and upping the FSB to 266, 300, 333, 400 all of which this board should have no problem running, along with my cpu, but it's a no boot for all of them.

I'm at a loss, any help would be great. Think i need to do a pin mod or is there something else holding me back?
