Performance wise, it fares as expected, slotting in nicely between the X2 3800+ and E6300, and the slated $163 pricetag reflects that.
Of course, the big talking point of the E4300 will be what it brings to overclockers.
From the look of things it should make an excellent budget overclockers chip, with the main advantage being the 9x multiplier, so there is no need for high speed RAM and 400FSB+ capable mobos for 3GHz+ overclocks. Cheapskates rejoice!
