How can i resolve it?
Is it because i have connected vga cable?
 
moreover I cannot also set max resolution of 1680 * 1050.

I can set only 1280 * 1025
 
The monitor should work fine with VGA or DVI.

Do you have the drivers for the monitor installed? (there should have been a CD)

Are the drivers for your video card installed and working?

I have installed driver from dell site. But same problem persists.

I have Intel 82815 graphics controller... is it too old to control e228wfp? :rolleyes:
