Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
just a quick quesiton, will i notice any difference interms of multitask( having 10 firefox explorers , playing music, aiming) , boot time if i moved to e6550?
The E2160 and E6550 are both dual-core processors, so one won't inherently be better at multi-tasking at once. However, especially if you're not overclocking, the E6550 has a higher clock speed, and also has four times as much L2 cache, so will certainly be faster. It would be a bad purchase today though, the E8190 is the same list price and is both faster and 45nm (cooler/lower power), provided your motherboard is okay with the new processors - it might need a BIOS update.
As for whether you'd notice the difference - do you find that you're approaching 100% CPU utilisation, or find your system sluggish? If so, then it would probably help.
