wow it has been a while since I ahve been here. Anyways I converted all my disks to dynamic for some stupid reason and I realized I wanted them back to basic anyways I got two of my hard drives back to basic but the drive that Windows is installed on I am probably going to need to reformat. Anyways I was wondering when I reformat install will it automatically go back to basic or will I have to do something annoying like install windows on a different drive and do the conversion that way? Just wondering if people have any experience with this

Why do you want to revert them to Basic disks?

Because dynamic disks are the lose, especially when you aren't using them like they were designed. Especially when it comes to data recovery, you're fairly hardcore screwed.
