dying hard drive?

(1 year old WD 80gb 8mb buffer "special edition")
symptoms:
cs:source and warcraft 3:TFT both crash sporadically.
after warcraft 3 closed for the first time last night, i pushed the restart button on my computer, and the substitute for the default windows "loading" screen (the one you can turn off, and instead it shows bars going across the screen) would freeze in the very beginning of it. this happened almost all day until i finally tried to repair windows, quit, and finally it started up.

it also made strange clicking noises during this and makes them sometimes when windows loads.

it now freezes sporadically. i upped the voltage on the AGP by 1/10, as well as cpu core, and memory. it's weird...it doesn't freeze all the time, just every once in a while.

should i make a phone call to western digital to see if i can get it replaced?

you can check its warranty online. just go to wester digital's homepage and its under there somewhere. It sounds like theres some sector damaged, possibly physically if its actually 'clicking' not just the reading/writing sound.

umm, change your AGP voltage back to default, why did you do that? actually, on second thought, run your computer stock and change everything back to their default voltages and clocks. If they're crashing instead of visual corruption, then don't increase voltage to your video card, most of them are very sensitive to it. Then test your computer again.
