Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ive seen a couple threads where people have dyed their psu cables black. Im thinking about doing this and havent been able to find any tutorials on how to. I was just curios to how you guys do it? Thanks.
Get a big metal container (like a pot). Put in liquid Rit Dye and water (not too much). Heat up on the stove until its about to boil. Turn the heat off and then dip the cables into the hot mixture and let em sit for several minutes, constantly mixing it so no damge is done to the shielding from the hot bottom.
Remove, and rinse off...
Rit advises to put a cup of salt into the mix for penetration but I'd definately not do that for cables.
I've dyed a ton of vintage BMX brake cable housings with the procedure above and they turned out great. Same for vintage plastic BMX seats.
