Dxtory, x264 and Vegas

Hey, so I occasionally do some Minecraft videos, and so far I've been using Fraps - no problems at all, nice quality and Vegas treats it just fine (that's where I edit it)

Recently I tried out recording the footage from dxtory since it has more possibilities, and for the video settings I used this guide:

The footage itself seems fine, but Sony Vegas has huge problems dealing with it. The preview window loads really slowly and whenever I play back the footage, it lags for about 5 seconds before starting. Also after rendering there is some weird distortion occasionally (lasts a couple of seconds before clearing out, at random parts of the vid)

Is there anything I can do about it, or is it just my computer not being able to handle it? I already tried reinstall, same problem in 11 pro and 12 pro
I have 4gb ram, 2,9ghz x2 Athlon cpu and HD 4670 gpu, footage is 720p
 
I use x264vfw that only has presets. Use that and select Ultrafast for more performance. Also try keyint=30 for more key frames. May help with Vegas.

Edit: I see you have an X2. Grab an X6 while you still can.
