when i test my direct3d in the directx diagnostic tool, i end up seeing this cube spinning insanely fast. u can make out the green in it but its like lighting speed fast. it toggles around and i can tell that its spinning (but at the speed of light x_x). i havent had an error in any game. i just upgraded my gfx card, psu, and replaced my mobo with a refurbished dell mobo.

my specs are :
dell 4550
intel p4 2.4ghz
unknown mobo...
bfg 6800 oc
SB live! 5.1
directx 9.0c
forceware 66.93

even though i havent been affected by it, its worrying me =/

odd mine does it also on my 6600GT.
No problems here though so i dont care

Huh, mine does it too on my 9600Pro. I'm pretty certain I used to be able to make out the sides of the cube, it was spinning much slower. It's either a Microsoft thing, or our cards have the adrenaline pumping.

Turn on Vsync for Direct 3D. It will spin at a normal speed. There's no problem with that, it's just it goes so fast because there's nothing to cap it. Too much raw power? :p

lol you're right...it works after i turn on vsync, thanks everyone no more worrying for me :p. i just thought i had some glitch while installing drivers or the card is somehow messed up. anyway thanks again
