DX9L

[kakarotxiv]

it's essentially DX10 for XP but no release date. anyone know?

good thing they're doing that. i mean really who's getting vista with xp still very very good and used? i know i won't. for a very long time

[ta addict#2]

it is to run dx9 games in vista from what I've read

[BrainDanceR]

XP will not have DX10. Unless there is a major rework of XP.ie. unlikely.

DX9L is for Vista to run DX9. Thats all.

Face it, XP will not be having DX10.

This seems logical.

After all, DX10 is one of MS's main selling points for Vista. Why would they offer it freely on XP to dissuade people from upgrading? It makes no business sense...
