DVI vs Response Time

I have a choice between 2 19" LCDs. One is 16ms with DVI the other is 8ms with DSub only. Ive been using a 17" with 16ms and DSub.

Which would be better for gaming?

I know response time is important and I can tell between a 25ms and 16ms response but will I really notice from 16 to 8? Am I going to notice going from DSub to DVI? Thanks in advance.
 
I don't think you will notice the 16 to 8 ms difference but you will notice the difference from dsub to dvi as dvi is far superior of a picture. The dvi w 16ms is your best bet because of these 2 points.
 
it's a matter if you want a better picture or less like to ghost. I would go the DVI/16 myself.
 
So it looks like the concensus is the advantage of DVI over DSub is greater than 16ms over 8ms huh? Okay then - thx for the input!
