DVI vs HDMI (?)

Got a new card and was wondering if there would be a noticeable difference between using a dedicated HDMI cable or sticking with the DVI/HDMI cable that I have been using. This is a cable without an adapter. Has DVI on one end and HDMI on the other. My monitor doesn't have built in speakers so sound is not any issue.

If you've been using that cable before, then you should be fine with it now.

No difference, they (DVI and HDMI) both output pure digital signals to the monitor

Just wondering if there was any noticeable gain in visuals. If not, I won't even mess with changing it.
