I am in the search for a new DVI to VGA adapter for my 6800 Ultra. To make things short I broke the one I have.

Now to get more specific on what I am looking for. My computer is on a shel and the cables for my CRT monitors have to make a very sharp bend in order for me to plug them in. I think I have found the perfect solution here. Instead of plugging the CTR's into the back of the card and making that 90 degree bend I can plug that adapter cable, giving me more play in the CRT cables.

Is this adapter a sutiable replacment, for normal DVI to VGA adapters? What I dont understand is apple says they are for[font=helvetica, geneva, arial] 24-bit video-mirroring. I have no clue what that means, but would this cable be ok to use with my setup?

Thanks for any clues!
