DVI splitter or Y cable?

Does anyone make a DVI splitter or Y cable? I want something like a kvm, only without the k&m part. I want to connect a Mac Mini to my Dell 2405 along with my other pc. Only one would be powered on at a time, and I plan to run different keyboards and mice with each. Basically I want to run two computers into one DVI display.

Does such a product exist, or am I stuck buying a DVI KVM?

Thanks!

Is hooking up one computer the analog input and the other to the DVI not an option??

There's plenty of options such as this one here, but after looking at the price, I would agree with travbomb and hope that using vga with one is an option ;) .

The picture just isn't sharp enough for me with VGA. I guess a DVI kvm (~$200) is the only option. Oh well, it's only money right?

$200 sounds a little high.... you can get a DVI KVM for as low as $60.

And yeah that's the only way.

Maybe you should have got a monitor with dual dvi? HP LP2465 for example? Then it's just a push of the source button.

That would be an option now, but I've had my 2405 for over a year now. Next monitor will have dual everything! :p

And if you word it right you'll only have to ship 'em the cardboard box! :D

You would run into all sort of little problem w/ KVM switches. Basically the technology is not there. Go w/ the Y cable.
