DVI PC to DVI-TV question

Have a 9800Pro AIW and a 65" Samsung 1080i HDTV. Any recs on what resolution to run?
Can I just try 1024x768 or is it worth my time to get Powerstrip and do some funky res. Also, what refresh rate should I set the card to before I connect it to the DVI-in on my TV?

I'm sure if you look up some detailed info on your tv it will all be listed
 
I just assumed that someone here would have tried it by now, rather than me having to find my manual and dig through it.
