So I just got an pretty good deal on a slightly used 22" NEC MultiSync FP1350X. Its got two inputs on the back, a regular D-Sub, and a DVI connector. Apparently you can connect two computers to the monitor at the same time and switch between them like on a KVM.
Anyway, Is there any benefit to using a DVI cable rather than a standard serial cable on a CRT tube? Its got a max resolution of 1920 x 1440 @ 76 Hz, but I run it at 1600 x 1200 @ 85Hz. My Radeon 9600 Pro has both types of outputs as well.
