DVI KVM switches...HELP!

I haven't received a reply from this certain Yahoo! store so I'll ask it here...

For a DVI KVM switch, what's considered an analog and digital resolution? Most switches has a max High VGA resolution of 1920x1200 (analog) and 1600x1200 for digital. But if it's a DVI KVM, wouldn't the output be digital anyways? I have a 23" Apple display with a max resolution of 1920x1200 through a DVI connection and want to know if I can use the full 1920x1200 resolution or not. Thanks.
