My friend just puchased a Samsung 19" LCD. It came with VGA cable and a DVI. So far only the VGA works (needs to use a converter) and every time I try to use the DVI cables it goes black and box shows up with RGB and it says ANALOG. Theres a button that says source, and when pressed the box says DIGITAL but still is black. What am I doing wrong? Do I need some sort of driver?

System Specs:
AMD 64 3800
Asus A8N-SLI
eVGA Geforce 6800GT
1gb Corsair XMS pc-3200

EDIT: nvm i think i got it. In order to use DVI cables you have to plug them in before starting the computer. I didn't try that. oops :p
