I'm bit of a newcomer when it comes to monitor set up, I currently have two Asus VS248H-P (one being used as my main connected via HDMI to the GPU) and the second one is on it's way, I'm curious as to if I need another HDMI cable to hook it up to get the HD experience, or will I receive the same HD experience if I used a DVI cable?

Also awaiting the release of the new Asus VG248QE 144hz for my main monitor, but don't know what it's going to be released since I don't really have the 27' VG with the 1920x1080 dimensions, might as well wait for the 24 if the resolution will be at that.

It's not really needed to have 3 144hz monitors, only the one that you use for gaming correct?

DVI and HDMI will give you the same picture, so no worries there. (DVI and HDMI are pretty much the same at that resolution with HDMI also sending sound).

Unless you want to do some sort of eyefinity thing, just the one you game with should be good.

Thanks for the reply man, you answered everything I had asked. No idea what the eyefininty thing is, but I'm assuming it's something completely unnecessary.
