Also, what kind of display are we talking about here? You may not even need a dual-link cable.
 
No idea either about usb, but just FYI, for any digital signal video cable, it will either work or don't regardless of price.There is no such thing as different image quality depending on cable quality.

That said, it is quite a nice price for the length of the cable, even vs monoprice.

From what I read data loss can be an issue on longer cables, even with all digital, translating in stuttering and artifacting, but this happens at much longer lengths. I've only read this from one source, but it sounded plausible to me.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by the price as well, plus it qualifies for prime!

Its a 1920x1080 monitor. I figure I may as well get the dual link in case I upgrade it, a single handles up to 1920x1200 right?
