My sony sdm-hs74p 17inch LCD has both HD15 and DVI plugs, but im only able to get the HD15, or analog, cord to work at the monitor's max resolution of 1080x1024. For some reason, DVI maxs out at 1024x768. The refresh rate is always set to 60Hz.

Why can't I get the DVI connection to bump up to its full resolution? i want to take advantage of what I paid for. You guys think that my s***ty video card, a transcend radeon 9200, is the limitin' factor in this? Sony doesnt over any drivers for the monitor, just some calibration software which doesnt work for me either. I've got my videocard using the latest catalyst drivers. I tell ya, i really have no idea here. How do I get my card to and monitor to sport DVI 1080x1024@60Hz glory?
