DVDXCOPY isn't working...

So while it's reading the DVD, about half-way through, I get a prompt to "END TASK" from windows, and forces me to close it out. I've troubleshooted quite a bit...but can't figure it out.....

I have a Sony 4x DVD-RW

i used to use dvdxcopy platinum 3.2.1 untill i got sick of all of the problems with my sony dru510a.

I would get random errors, coasters, and all sorts of things. I tried reformmatting several times.

I just got sick of it and swithced to using dvd decrypter, dvdshrink, and nero for burning. Using this combo i have yet to have any problems, plus i get a lot more costomizable options.

The only downside is that its not a one step burn.

edit: also doesnt this belong in the software section, i bet youd get more responses there
 
I say forget XCopy(I did after having to many problems) and go with the following....

DVD Decryptor
DVD Shrink
(Burning program of your choice, I use Nero5.5)


that is all I use and I love the fact that I can include ONLY the things I want.

They can all be found here----> www.dvdrhelp.com along with a lot of information.


I use the above to back up my DVDs and I use Fair Use(also found on dvdrhelp) to convert 'em to DivX and keep 'em on my computer(largest is about 800MB)

Also not a bad choice, I use both.
