i just got my dvdrw installed and im wondering what the differences
are in the types of dvd disks?
is one brand a higher quality for recording then another or are
they all pretty much the same?

their are some killer deals on ebay for generic packs
lots of auctions for memorex, verbatim, tdk, etc...

i just dont know which to buy?
 
Ritek G04 are usually the best ones to get. They are also quiet expensive. The cheapest ones are Princos, they are okay for regular usage. The CompUSA DVD-R are Princos.
 
For -R AND +R, you can't go wrong with Taiyo Yuden. Ritek and Ricoh are also very good, as is Maxell.
