DVD sound issue

Whenever i put a DVD into my computer i get perfect video, but no sound. I have tried multiple DVD's and nothing has worked. I tried a movie that i had saved on a CD and it worked with sound and video. Clips from online also work with sound and video.

I am using Windows Media Player 11, the new one that looks all different and stuff.
