My CDRW shows up in the BIOS as DMA2... however my DVDRW shows up as ATA 33. So I am going to assume that the DVDRW should be the Master and the CDRW the slave..


BTW: Am I going to be sued for saying Slave? :eek:
 
It doesn't really matter which drive is on what position. They will work fine either way.

I have *three* optical drives (my WD is on the built-in Promise controller) with the DVD-ROM primary master, DVD burner primary slave, and CD -RW as secondary master (D:, E:, and F: respectively) but arranged from bottom to top in my case (with F: at the top).
