I went into device manager, and it is listed as DMA mode if available... ikeep rebooting and its still listed in PIO mode..anyone have any idea why? or how to fix this? (btw im on my sony laptop)
Go to device manager then IDE controllers. Uninstall the IDE channel that your HD is on. Reboot and Windows shall reinstall them and they should be set as DMA.
