When I try to play a DVD I get this error
"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection."

I have tryed other DVD programs but I get all errors.
This is a DVD-rom i have had for a long time but i just stopped reading dvds, everything else reads fine, I can explore DVDs but can't play them.
Is ther a fix for this?

you could try running the dvd with another program like interactual i believe it is a free download

[edit] sorry i missed where you said you tried other programs. Did you try reinstalling the driver?

There is a B/S setting in Win Media player that needs to be changed. I had the same problem and could not figure out what I had setup wrong in media player. It worked then something I changed f'ed it all up with DVD's. I can use the software that came with my ancient Creative Labs DVD player though.

Driver? People haven't used drivers for optical drives since Win95.
