I recently bought a Pioneer DVD 120S drive but it wont work in my machine, I have uninstalled it reinslatlled it went to pioneer.co.uk but no luck. The DVD rom appears in windows but just wont read any data on any disc inserted into it. I also found that the DVD Region is set to not specified, i try to set it to region 2 with my Pulp Fiction DVD in the drive, but it tells me i need a region 2 dvd disc inserted and to have admin priviledges, i have both. I am baffled. any ideas?
 
Check for new firmware on the drive, or return it for another. I have one of them and it's been a great drive.
