DVD Region Burning

I bought a DVD from Europe but I obviously cant play it over here in North America. I been trying to find out if its possible to burn the DVD and change its Region Setting. Anyone have any information on how to do this.

DVD Shrink can remove some regional encoding

You can also install firmware for your drive that makes it region-free (for most players).

Also, check the web for info about your specific DVD player model. You can change the region settings on some of them.

Some, however, like mine, you can only change a limited number of times (mine you can only change 5 times, then it will lock down on whatever region that is)
