I don't know what brand they are.

I don't even *own* a dvd burner, but I have been keeping an eye on prices. It's my next-next upgrade.
 
I just bought a 50-pack of Ritek on newegg. From what I've read, they're really good.
 
www.dvdrhelp.com is your friend. Read up on what burner may suite your fancy. Then read up on what media(Ritek[Ridata], and TY are the tops usually)works best in your burner AND players.
