DVD drive wont recognize TY DVD+R as DVD type

I've never had this problem before. Something might have happend when I burned a CD with nero. I am not sure though. I've been able to use shrink to burn DVDs using TY but now I can't because it wont recognize the DVD as a DVD but as a CD instead. I've had to use ULead. Any ideas?
