I recently bought a 600 cds/dvds aluminium case... but it smells really like something strange or chemical smell inside. It is rather intense.
I tried to put it out on the fresh air, even had fans blowing at it for several days, while it was open, still the smell remains. I personally don't mind it, since I won't have my head stuck in there sniffing at it, but I am worried about my dvd collection getting damaged, if that smell is indication of chems that could somehow get absorbed by the dvds.
Any thoughts ?
PS : It would help if internet could transmit not only sound and vision but also smells
PS 2 : Now that I think about my first PS again, that would be rather scary...
