I am looking for software that I can use to edit/splice video together so I can burn a few homemovies to a dvd-r.

I was wondering what you guys had to say about whats out there. Any suggestion for software is welcome, hopefully not software that costs a ton-o-money. Freeware would be cool if any decent free programs exist.

Thanks

For the DVD side of things, Sonic's MyDVD is one of the best out there...you can bring video in with it, and burn with it...I also use a program called Sony Screenblast for the video editor, and those two are a perfect combo...

MyDVD is around $100 for the Deluxe version, but is around $50-$60 on the lower end of things...Screenblast is also around $100...I know you're ooking for free, but if you want quality, that's the way to go...
