I wouldn't use canned air... that shit calls for an air compressor. Maybe put some filters in over the intake?
 
I'd imagine you were taking a look at his computer for performance issues?

"Hey dude, do you think you could take a peek at my computer? The fans seem to keep going out, and the case is actually hot to the touch!"

"Hmm, sure, I'll take a look. How often do you clean the dust out?"

Well let me explain. Hes in grade 9 and so am I. Hes not what you would call comp savy. He called me up and said "I cant boot into windows, I turn on my comp and when it gets to the part with the blue bars it wont go past that". I wonder why :cool: Its probably hot enough to cook some pizza on
 
Well I'd honestly have to say that doesn't look to bad if it's never been cleaned out.... If I'm not mistakin, that's a P2 in there right? And if it's never been cleaned, that looks about right for 6 years of dust....

But still, holy f***. That's when you buy a whole air compressor, not just a can, lol.
 
lol thats bad.. but i've seen worse. the dust was cake on so bad, the pcb was no longer green (not a SPECK of it was green)
 
my brother had dust, cat hair, dog hair, human hair........very little ammouts tho.......lots of dust, and ice tea stains on the inside and outside of his case once.......it was horriable

mines pretty bad too, but not like that, im gunna spray er out tomorrow before i boot up
 
i took apart a few computers where i used to work that had a good 5 years of dust in them.. i usually would find dead spiders or cockroaches in them too.. no stains though..
