im trying to install two of the same cd-rw into my computer and when i go to add hardwareit says cant install because of duplicate devices help me plz

they are both LG CD-RW CED-8080B
 
That shouldn't be a problem. If that were the case, no one could set up raid 0 with identical drives, which is what most people do.

I'd check your jumper settings or maybe even move them to separate channels.
