Dumb Question how do i replace the cpu sensor on a case

the case temp sensor is usually:

1. integrated on the mobo
2. a seperate wire temp probe that connects to the thermometer (on an add-on temp monitoring setup)
 
wire cutters, solder, replacement temp sensor, and the hope you don't fuck anything up.


If its not working, you could RMA the whole mobo, but as for fixing it, you're outa luck
 
the cpu probe is not built on the mobo.. its built on my case and has the lcd readouts for HDD and CPU.. the HDD probe works but the cpu does not
