dumb question about a raid enclosure

Can i re-purpose a raid enclosure to be a external hard drive enclosure like 2 drives in a powered box? I Know this sounds like a dumb question.

In this particular case it seems the answer is yes. Your enclosure has a SATA processor/port multiplier which allows a mode called Linear, which from what I read is essentially JBOD mode. See page 39 in the linked enclosure manual for setting the DIP switches for linear mode.
