ive been heavily researching conroe and ive been seeing alot of talk about ES chips are these any different than the regular E series chips? im asking here cause its the best atmosphere IMO. Thanks in advance.
 
ES: Engineering Sample. These were sent out by Intel to various people for preview purposes.

Umh , no.They were sent to HW and SW makers to create/tune HW and SW optimized for the new chips.Some leaked into the wild.
