duh? Two Processors??

IIRC, if you've got a HT-enabled processor, then you will see two "Virtual" processors. It's how it's designed...

Just gotta buy some cooling stuff before i do any major overclocking...

Today i just increased it from a 2.41 to a 2.47Ghz .. not too much at once i hope
 
The 2.4 C typically has a lot of headroom for OCing. I got mine up to around 3.3 Ghz on air, stock voltages. It's back to 2.4 now though.
 
I was using a Zalman CNPS-7000AlCu cooler with Arctic Silver 5. Not the greatest HSF, but it's very good and very quiet.

If I dropped my memory timings, I probably could've gone higher, maybe to the 3.6 range, which I have seen some people take their 2.4C to.
 
you can push it further than 2.47 man. don't be shy , crank it more than that!
 
i Want to take it high.. but just IF by somechance it heats up too much.. and fries than i wont have a comp for some time.. so i am just looking around for some cooling stuff before doing any major overclocking..

and anyone know weher i can get cheap heatspreaders for Rams from?
looked on newegg didnt find any..

Lol just look around and yank whatever looks like a cpu out of your computer... oh wait is that normal for intel to show two seperate cpu id's ? hmmm Im going to open my case and see if i got 2 processors also....this is so cool 2 processors yet only 1 is actually there...wow.
