ok i recently changed around my room and decided to take an old monitor out of the closet and set it up as dual... on a 256mb radeon 9800pro

my question... how do i strech a background across the 2? when i "extend main" its the same background on both

there is "strech main" which extends the background but i hate how all the windows and things pop up right in the middle...
 
Lets say you are running a resolution of 1024X768 on both monitors. You will need to make one image that is 2048X768. You then set it as your wallpaper and set it to tile. That one image will then span both monitors.
