I keep seeing mention of "dual 6800's", or dual this, dual that etc... What's up with this, are people putting two agp cards in one machine, or is there a new technology out? Any articles on this?
 
I had read the info back in summer of 04, but ignored it has another failed marketing attempt. How well has SLI caught on? any ATI counterparts?
 
sli seems to be a mixed bag. some like it some dont. and its expensive which is why i think most dont like it lol. ati hasnt come out with there version of sli yet.
 
Ati is currently producing AMR to catch up with Nvidia.
The problem with SLi is widescreen issues and 77 (or just 70) max games supported.
SLi users say you can use some program to make SLi work for any other games you might have though.
