Dual pump needed?

I'm currently ordering a TH10 Caselabs case and I'm wondering if the following is sufficient to cool the system.

3960x Intel Processor OC'ed to 4.5ghz
3 x GTX 680 4GB

I'm planning on running 2 XSPC RX360's.

I have a MCP655 with res that I'm planning on using. Do I need a dual pump? Or is a single sufficient?

I plan to mainly run this as a gaming rig.

Are the 680s in parallel or serial?

With that much expensive hardware, I would add a second 655 just for the redundancy. If the 680s are in serial, you definitely want a second pump.

I think the net result would be equivocal in terms of temps, but you'll get higher flow rates with parallel.

Either way, I would add a second pump for the redundancy factor. If one fails, you still have the second one to keep things cool.

I had similar question as well. I have a 480 and 240. One CPU and one GPU. I just have one MCP 655 right now. Would I need a second?

No, you don't.

I say OP should have a second pump because it wouldn't do to have $1800+ worth of components fried because he didn't want to spend $80 on a pump.
