Dual output for two projectors?

What would you suggest?? We are going to have a dual LCD projector setup soon, and they want me to build a machine to do this.

#1. Will dual head allow two DIFFERENT desktops at the same time?? If not, how would I run say, two powerpoints at the same time on the same machine??

#2. I was thinking of on of those Matrox 650's for this(i was told they were the best for dual head?? just hearsay though)..... would this be good for what it will be used for? Or would just a plain old Geforce4 MX with dual DVI for 1/3 price be just as good??

so is there a reason why I would pick a 9600 over a half-priced GF4MX if the ONLY thing I am doing is Powerpoint??

ok, I didn't realize DVI made a difference in quality... so if that is the case, that is what I will look into, thanx for your time man.
