I have 2 versions of xp but one doesnt work. I'm trying to erase one from the boot.ini file but after i alter it it says that the file doesnt exist. im going to start run c://boot.ini, how should i do it?
I don't think you can run an .ini file ... in any case the file is normally flagged hidden, and you can't start > run hidden files. Did you try just rebooting?
yes i have altered it that way before... my friend showed me how i am just doing it wrong now. and i went into msconfig and was able to take out the line from there so i just have the good os on it now.
