First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I wasn't sure where to put it. =x

So here's my story... I just bought a new lcd and I'm using my old crt as a second monitor (it's extended, not streched). I was wondering if there was a way to use a second mouse for my second monitor, so that when I'm playing a game, I could use the other monitor without having to alt-tab. I see lots of potential in this but I'm not sure if it's possible. I was also wondering if there was some good software to handle multiple monitors, I have an ATI x800 xl.

Any help would be appreciated, thx.

Hehe I did actually, but both mice use the same cursor. =/ Is there a way to channel them or something?

Even if it was possible (Which I highly doubt) you would be much better off with a second basic system to run chat clients and the like while gaming.

I hate to be one of "those guys", but this has been possible with X in unix systems since pretty much the beginning. :p I have no idea how to do this in windows, though.

Anyway, for good multihead software, check out ultramon.

I've been doing a lot of reading and it will happen faster than you think. Apparently Microsoft already made the driver and I'm guessing it'll come with windows vista (hopefully). So thx for the help guys, I tried the CPN tool and it does work, but it's still a little buggy. Better than nothing at least.
