First off is there a way to make the "start bar" appear on the second screen as well?
Also is there a way to set the entry point for the second screen on the left of the main instead of the right?

Ultramon will give you a start bar on the second screen.

In your display properties under the settings tab you can drag and drop your second screen to any position you want.

exactly, and then enjoy, once you use the 2 monitors, no matter what you wont want to go back to one

yeah, i have a monitor from a rma due to backlight issues, and i have the original still for a few days, man running these as dual monitors just makes me want to buy another. im completely addicted.
